Southbank Sanctuary

This one bedroom flat in a Victorian terrace conversion had not seen an update in decor for at least a decade and the owner felt that it never really felt like home. The challenge with this living space was that it is quite narrow, making it feel a cramp, and it had very little natural light coming in.

With this major revamp the idea was never to change the space into something that it is not. So an overall modernisation was ever on the cards because it is not in keeping with the style and personality of the owner. The owner also wanted to add colours that complimented her rustic and earthy style. Additional storage space were created in the bedroom and the televisions mounted on the wall was boxed in.
