Oval Refresh

Having done a full renovation on this one bedroom flat before, the owner wanted to update the interior after 2 years.

The refresh included repainting the entrance hall, bedroom and living/work space, updating furniture pieces and soft furnishings, and rearranging the spaces to create a completely different and more spacious feeling to the apartment.

The paint colours I used have been mixed by myself. Soft furnishings, including curtains, blinds and the daybed in the living room have been created by me. Repurposed wood was used to box and hide the boiler in the bedroom, in order to provide additional storage space.

This project gave me the opportunity to utilise many of my creative skills - from mixing my own paint colours and building storage space to making soft furnishings and building bespoke furniture.

As was the case with the original refurbishment project, the owner once again gave me artistic licence to recreate the interior style according to my own artistic and creative instincts.
